About Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient science of life, where ‘Ayur ‘means life and ‘Veda’ means science. There are four vedas –Rugveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda. Ayurveda is Upaved of Atharvaveda, which is the first Hindu text on Indian medicine.

The basic principles of Ayurveda depends on Tridoshas ( Vata, Pitta & Kapha) , Saptadhatus (Ras, Rakt, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja & Shukra) and Trimala (Purish, Mutra & Sweda) concepts.

According to Ayurveda, everything in this universe is made up of five basic elements i.e., Panchmahabhutas which are Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Air (Vayu), Fire (Agni) & Ether (Akash).

Our Indian old generation people were physically & mentally very healthy because they use to follow Ayurveda and yoga, particularly in their daily lifestyle. Also, Indian culture and atmosphere are very healthy as compared to others. And our traditional Indian food is healthy and tasty with many health benefits. That’s why by following this all, our old generation lived their healthy life above 90 yrs. which has reduced by 20 15 yrs. nowadays.

Nowadays we know that how infectious diseases are affected to the body and in this condition, Ayurveda plays a key role to increase immunity and also improve the psychological quality of life.
